# Yardstick Outfitters > Yardstick Outfitters is a size-aware deal finder for motorcycle gear, starting with adventure (ADV) and dual-sport riding, with overlanding, hunting and fishing gear planned next. Riders save their measurements once, pick a category, brands and must-have features, and the service matches their size to each brand's own chart (including brand fit quirks such as Euro sizing) and alerts them when gear in their size hits a great price. Buying is confirm-first (free); auto-buy within the rider's rules is coming at launch ($1 per auto-buy). Memberships: Scout $39/yr and Outfitter $79/yr. The waitlist is open; full launch is pending. Fit guides cite their sources (brand charts, RevZilla, rider forums, magazine tests). Where a common claim couldn't be verified, the guides say so instead of repeating it. ## Main pages - [Home](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/): What the service does, how it works, the measurement profile, buying modes and the waitlist - [Fit guides index](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/guides/): All brand sizing and measuring guides - [The Trading Post newsletter](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/newsletter/): Weekly issues with verified ADV and dual-sport gear deals (prices dated) and fit tips ## Fit guides - [How to Measure Yourself for Motorcycle Gear](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/guides/how-to-measure-for-motorcycle-gear/): A plain, step-by-step guide to measuring chest, waist, hips, inseam, arm, hand and head for motorcycle jackets, pants, gloves and helmets. - [Does Alpinestars Run Small? Euro 52 is about a 102–106 cm chest, which RevZilla lists as US 42 / Large. Many riders report sizing up one or two, especially riders with broad chests or shoulders. - Dainese: Euro jacket sizes are 10 above US sizes on RevZilla's chart (Euro 52 = US 42). Two Euro sizes share each letter size. If you're between sizes, size up. Short and Tall cuts don't follow the minus-10 rule. We couldn't verify claims that Dainese "runs small." - Klim: US letter sizes with wide chest ranges (Large is 41.75–45.25 in on the general chart) and a cut made for layering. Owners often report sizing down; others say true to size. Check each model's own chart. - REV'IT!: Dutch, European cut that runs narrow through the shoulders, chest and waist, with a longer torso and sleeves. Use each product's own chart. If chest and waist disagree, go by chest. - Shoei: sizes come in 2 cm steps (Medium is 57–58 cm). Most models use an intermediate oval shape. If you're between sizes, Shoei Europe says to try the smaller one first. The exception: RevZilla customers say the Hornet X2 runs slightly small and recommend sizing up. - Gaerne: no source found saying Gaerne boots run small. SG-12 owners mostly report true to size, or up to half a size large. Toe boxes are roomier than other Italian brands'. Use the chart on the exact boot's page. - Measuring: chest around the fullest part under the armpits, tape level. Your waist measurement isn't your pants size. Charts measure arm length in two different ways (shoulder to wrist or neck to wrist), so check which one a chart uses. ## Policies - [Terms of Service](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/terms/): Service rules, confirm-first and auto-buy purchases, memberships - [Privacy Policy](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/privacy/): What we collect (measurements, email), processors (Cloudflare, Stripe), no data sales - [Refund & Cancellation Policy](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/refunds/): Cancel anytime; 14-day refund if unused; $1 auto-buy fee refunded if order fails or is cancelled before shipping; gear returns follow retailer policy - [Affiliate Disclosure](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/affiliate-disclosure/): We earn commissions on some links at no extra cost ## Optional - [Full text of all guides](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/llms-full.txt): Every fit guide as one markdown file - [Sitemap](https://yardstickoutfitters.com/sitemap.xml)
